CKEditor keyboard shortcuts

User can turn them on and off. All at once.

All shortcuts are CTRL+ALT+something. Use the top row (numbers row) of the keyboard, mostly.

Maybe just use CTRL, and not CTRL+ALT.

Show shortcuts in tooltips for buttons, when shortcuts are on.

  • CTRL+ALT+* (8) - toggle unordered list
  • CTRL+ALT+% (5) - toggle ordered list, starting at 1.
  • CTRL+ALT++ (=) - increase indent
  • CTRL+ALT+- - decrease indent
  • CTRL+ALT+B, CTRL+I - toggle strong, usually bold
  • CTRL+ALT+I, CTRL+I - toggle italic
  • CTRL+ALT+L - toggle make a link out of selected text
  • CTRL+ALT+1 - heading 1
  • CTRL+ALT+2 - heading 2
  • CTRL+ALT+3 - heading 3
  • CTRL+ALT+Q - toggle quote
  • CTRL+ALT+R, N - remove formatting, normal formatting.
  • CTRL+ALT+F - toggle fixed-width formatting
  • CTRL+ALT+C - code, syntax highlighted
  • CTRL+ALT+M - toggle maximize
  • CTRL+ALT+^ (6) - insert image
